Brown, hard-cover Original 1830 Book of Mormon reprint in paragraph "story" style is a historical, pure account of Ancient Americans and their obedience and/or disobedience to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Indeed, Jesus, prophetically known to the awaiting inhabitants of America, after His Resurrection and after teaching the Jews did ascend into Heaven to then teach His "other sheep" in America after three days of darkness and destruction; the sign of His Coming to America, thirty-three years after the sign was given of Jesus' birth (pg 470 in the Original Book of Mormon or 3rd Nephi 8:2 in the altered version).
The 1830 Original Book of Mormon reprint is unaltered by the "learned men" as warned of as documented on page 30 of the Original Book of Mormon. After mentioning other great and abominable churches on this earth (pg 28), the Book of Mormon then talks about the "Book (Bible) proceeded forth from the mouth of a Jew...unto the Gentiles; behold, after this, thou seest the foundation of a great and abominable church, which is the most abominable above all other churches, for behold, they have taken away from the Gospel of the Lamb, many parts which are plain and most precious; and also, many Covenants of the Lord have they taken away; (see Book of Commandments available below - 65 sections - altered into the embellished Doctrine & Covenants - 138 sections) and all this have they done, that they might pervert the right ways of the Lord; that they might blind the eyes and harden the hearts of the children of men; wherefore, thou seest that after the Book has gone forth through the hands of the great and abominable church, that there are many plain and precious things taken away from the Book (present day altered Book of Mormon - "learned men" changing the true identity of God) which is the Book of the Lamb of God..." (pg. 30, Original Book of Mormon or 1st Nephi 13, altered Book of Mormon).
The Book of Mormon then prophesies of these plain and precious truths being restored to the "Book of the Lamb of God" and so it is that the Original, pure Book of Mormon, unaltered by the learned men (2nd printing with over 3,000 changes) will go forth throughout the world. "And the angel spake unto me, saying; These last records which thou hast seen among the Gentiles, shall establish the truth of the first, which is of the twelve apostles of the Lamb, and shall make known the plain and precious things which have been taken away from them; (both the Bible and Book of Mormon) and shall make known to all kindreds, tongues, and people, that the Lamb of God is the Eternal Father and the Saviour of the world;...for there is one God and one Shepherd over all the earth..." (pg. 32, Original Book of Mormon).
