I received a call from Utah to let me know of your radio program with
author of "Faithful Transgressions" and Arizona University Professor,
Laurel L. Bush which was re-broadcast Thursday night, March 18th on
KUED at www.radiowest.com. I was disappointed that it was a taped show and,
thus, no live calls were taken. Therefore, I'm writing this to you in
the hopes that my questions and information from my own research
regarding women's inequality in the LDS religion will be shared with
listeners and also Ms. Bush.

Outside of Utah, it's common knowledge that Utah has the highest rate
of women depression (judgemental, cultural stress for perfection, too
many children, depletion of health, financial stress), spouse abuse,
child abuse and use of prescription drugs in the nation. This is
according to US Census 2003 which I did a research paper on. Utah was
highest in many other areas of concern as well. If you would like this
information, I'll be happy to send it to you.

So much for the "fruits" of a male dominant religion. The key problem
is the attitude men have towards women (have to obey them as they hold
the priesthood and suppressed, lower-class women can not receive
spiritual insight for themselves, etc.) and not that women are out of
the home as President Hinckley stated when asked about these
statistics. Women in the homes are the greater victims of depression, abuse, etc.

In my research, I have found the scriptures on polygamy in the Book of
Mormon to be very clear[Jacob 2:23-24 and Jacob chapter 3]. The Lord
clearly states that polygamy is an abomination which men have tried to
justify because of the evil acts of Solomon and David and because the
people do not understand the scriptures at the time Jacob wrote that or
even today. Spiritual "wivery" still goes on in the temple today, with
men being able to be sealed to more than one woman.

Jacob 2:23-24 "This people begin to wax in iniquity; they understand
not the scrptures, for they seek to excuse themselves in committing
whoredoms, because of the things which were written concerning David,
and Solomen his son. Behold David and Solomon truly had many wives and
concubines, which thing was abominable before me, saith the Lord." 

Why were the Nephites destroyed and NOT the Lamanites? Jacob 2:3
"...that they should have save it were one wife, and concubins they
shold have none, and thee should not be whoredoms committed among them. And now, this commandment they observe to keep; wherefore, because of this observance, in keeping this commandment, the Lord God will not destroy them..." 

The Lord NEVER commanded polygamy or the use of concubines in the
Bible. Abraham lied about his wife Sarah and was "given" Hagar because
of lack of faith by Sarah and Abraham in the Lord that Sarah would ever
conceive. The "consequence" of Hagar today is seen with the Moslem race
who hate the "Christians."

The Lord allows free agency and, unfortunately, has fallible men and
women (guilty of ommission) to work with.  Even Joseph Smith was warned
by the Lord; "For even though a man may have many revelations, and have
power to do many mighty works, yet if he boasts in his own strength,
and sets at naught the counsels of God, and follows after the dictates of
his own will and CARNAL DESIRES, he must fall and incur the vengeance
of a just God upon him...Behold thou art Joseph, and thou wast chosen to
do the work of the Lord, but because of transgression, if thou art not
aware thous wilt fall [D&C 3:1-9]." 

 This is a very good warning from the Lord that all men (and women) of this earth CAN lead you astray "no matter their age or position."  ("Everyone needs to repent, no matter their age or position" a warning from Richard G. Scott in General Conference to even his peers and leader)

How many women and men in the church realize that D&C 132 was not added
to the Doctrine and Covenants until 1887 to justify polygamy which only
brought heartache, is the suppression of women and is NOT how it is in
Heaven? (My husband had a profound NDE and I have had many spiritual
witnesses as well)

How many members realize that the sole reason for the destruction of
the Nephite nation (except for Hagoth & inspired Nephites who left the
Americas) was, in fact, polygamy? This fact is NEVER talked about in
church. Reread 2 Jacob chapter 3 with this very clear understanding
given in the Book of Mormon.

Who realizes that in the first years of the church, women were given
the FULL priesthood? Women like Emma Hale Smith, Mary Fielding Smith,
Thirza Cahoon, Lois Cutler, and Phebe Woodworth, Jane Bicknell Young,
Maria Turnbow, Louisa C. Jackson, etc. This information is  from quotes
obtained from Joseph Smith's and Brigham Young's journals, such as,
"Mary A. Young admitted in to the hiest [highest] orderer [order of]
Preasthood [sic]."

This information was also obtained from "Mormon Women have Had the
Priesthood Since 1843" by BYU Professor, D. Michael Quinn for which he
was excommunicated NOT because he was gay - which happened afterwards
and, in my opinion, was used to undermine his credibility since his
research is award-winning and impeccable. 

I'm proud of the women that are now speaking and communicating the
truth, even in very small baby steps because of the generational
programming of suppression and blind obedience. We have been guilty of
ommission, which in the eyes of God are worse than commission.
Remember, if we are luke warm - He will spit us out of His mouth. "When you know the truth, it's important to stand up for truth", I learned this from a
caller whose "hair on the back of his neck stood on end" and had to
call in during one of my live radio shows when a co-host stated the need to
"be moderate."

The Lord's House needs to be cleansed and it will begin in SLC by the
members with a whirlwind! A "whirlwind" actually hit downtown SLC
August 11, 1999 causing destruction at the visitor's center and the "New
Assembly Hall" and killing one person. (Great & spacious building?)
This date is important because of the timing given by the PURE prophet Daniel whom the Lord is Honoring today (see Daniel II - this site) 

"And upon my house shall it begin, and from my house shall
it go forth, saith the Lord; First among those among you, saith the Lord,
who have professed to know my name and have not known me, and have
blasphemed against me in the midst of my house, saith the Lord" (D&C 112:24-26)

Before Ezra Taft Benson was "subdued", was he correct in saying that
"we are a condemned church?' (General Conference April 1989) Was he
referring to this pronouncement by the Lord, glossed over in all LDS
scripture studies?

D&C 124:47-48 "For instead of blessings, ye, by your
own works bring cursings, wrath, indignation, and judgments upon your
own heads, by your follies, and by all your abominations, which you
practice before me, saith the Lord."  (altering the Book of Mormon with
the second printing in 1837, practicing polygamy, taking away the
priesthood from the blacks and women, and joining secret combinations,
even Masonry and incorporating Masonic blood oaths in the Temple
ceremony (Moses 5:29) and covenanting to the church instead of to God
which is idolatry) 

William Smith, brother to masonically murdered Joseph Smith, was excommunicated for arguing over this "change in venue" with Brigham
Young.

And why did I say that the cleansing will occur by the members standing
up for and communicating truths? (D&C 64:38-40) "For it shall come to
pass that the inhabitants of Zion shall judge all things pertaining to
Zion. And liars and hypocrites shall be proved by them, and they who
are NOT apostles and prophets shall be known. (But who, with "authority",
profess to be the Lord's Prophet and Apostles.) And even the Bishop
(also called to the "position") who is a judge, and his counselors, if
they are not faithful in their stewardships shall be condemned, and
others shall be planted in their stead."

The cleansing of the Lord's House is a very good, positive thing that
will be happening. The internet, a free, uncontrolled avenue of
communication is "shouting the sins from the rooftops" and bringing
forth truths such as the "plain and precious truths" of the restored
Original Book of Mormon which clearly states that Jesus is God, the
Eternal Father!

Even in the altered Book of Mormon the truth exists as stated in Alma
11:23-40, Mosiah 15:1-5, Ether 3:14, etc. and shows the corruption of
embellishment and alterations to the Book of Mormon, the First Vision,
etc. that infiltrated the church from almost the beginning.

"...Is the Son of God the very Eternal Father? And Amulek said unto him; Yea, he is the very Eternal Father of heaven and earth..."

Joseph Smith's first version of the First Vision stated that only ONE personage appeared to him - "the Lord!" The version now being used has been altered by the "learned men."

It's all very easy to understand and makes sense. Thank you so much for
communicating truths to the extent that you have. Behind the scenes,
many events have occurred that have justifiably earned the title of
"money changers" to the leaders that flatter and say infamously and
prophetically, "All is Well in Zion" as declared in General Conference
by Gordon B. Hinckley.

This is in fulfillment of the warning given in 2 Nephi 28; "And others
will he pacify, and lull them away into carnal security, that they will
say: All is well in Zion; yea, Zion prospereth" Think of all of our
great and spacious buildings and temples, a type and shadow of another
president of the church - wicked King Noah spoken of in Mosiah who also
flattered the people and interpreted spiritual matters for the people
with his 12 high priests, not wanting the people to think for
themselves. In the book of Mosiah it warns 3 times that the story of
King Noah is a "type and shadow" of things to come!

Revelation by the Lord is line upon line; never ending! Why do we have
a prophet who does not prophesy and who does not receive revelation;
only small intuitive hunches??? Why are the Apostles (witnesses of
Christ?) involved in banking, money transactions that should be handled
by the Presiding Bishopric. When you speak the truth, YOU are NOT
speaking ill of the Lord's annointed, for "wo, unto those men who act
unrighteously as they no longer have the priesthood." The greater you
are, the easier to fall!

Spencer W. Kimball refused to be involved in the money matters, bank
and insurance boards, etc. as he knew by sad experience (while a Stake
President, Insurance man, and Banker in Stafford, Arizona) the
temptation to sell out the trusting people he had dominion over because
of wearing more than one hat - he had to repent and pay back the people
whom he talked into settling for less than what they were owed from
insurance reimbursement from a natural disaster, before he left for
Salt Lake to be an Apostle; little did he know of the serious Masonic blood oath that he would have to take as an Apostle. This was confessed by Howard W. Hunter to my Husband while he was repenting before he was "subdued" (see the Daniel's Prophecies II).

The LDS people are good people, but blindly obedient, parroting what
they have been repetitively taught as witnessed by your callers. I am
writing a book at this time, which you would find most interesting. The
truth is in the scriptures and is plain and simple, even the prophecies
are easy to understand and are being fulfilled today! What I'm teaching
is good news to awaken the saints. I hope that you will take the time
to read this, research, ponder and pray; for yourselves.

The Original Book of Mormon with it's restored "plain and precious
truths" of who God is, IS true and is a 2nd witness of the Bible and of
Christ and will flood the earth with truth during the Millennium. The
Gospel is true, but the Lord's House needs to be cleansed and the
"King" position dissolved to follow the example of Christ in having only 12
Apostles, true witnesses of Christ testify of Him. There is only ONE
God, King, and Savior and that IS Jesus Christ, the Eternal Father!
(reread Alma 11:23-40, Mosiah 15:1-5, Ether 3:14 AND the Original Book
of Mormon that has NOT been altered)

The 24 Apostles spoken of in revelations will be 12 men and 12 women...
I also did a research paper on the truth regarding Mary of Magdalene
and the Gospel of Mary, and other authenticated ancient records,
preserved for this day when communication is no longer suppressed!
